General Information

To achieve medium to long-term capital appreciation through all types of investments that have potential for growth over the medium term, over time.

Fund is suitable for investors who:

  • have medium to long term investment periods;
  • want a diversified equity portfolio with foreign exposure; and / or
  • seeking capital improvements, with dividend income being the second priority.

Fund Details

Distribution Policy Managers may use their discretion to distribute some or all of the income that the Fund can distribute. Depending on the investment objectives and performance of the Fund, the distribution (if any) may vary from time to time.
Investment Time Horizon Between 3 to 5 years or more
Initial Investment Minimum RM500 or other amount determined by us from time to time.
Additional Investment RM200 or any other amount determined by us from time to time.
Cooling off period

You are given six (6) Business Days after your initial investment (ie the date the application is received by Principal Asset Management) to reconsider its suitability to your needs. During this period, you can withdraw your investment at NAV per unit on the first day the unit is purchased, and recover the Application Fee (if any). Please note that the right to receive this cooling off period is only given to investors who invest with Principal Asset Management or any Approved Distributor for the first time.


However, corporations / institutions, Principal Asset Management staff and individuals registered to transact in Principal Asset Management unit trusts or any Approved Distributor are not eligible to receive this cooling off period.

Redemption /Withdrawal 200 units.
Launch Date 15 May 1991.

Fund Fees

Application Fees Up to 6.5% of the NAV per unit.
Annual Fees Management Fee: Up to 1.50% per annum from NAV
Trustee Fee: Up to 0.07% per annum of the NAV
Switching Fees Switching is treated as a withdrawal from one class or fund and an investment into another Class or Principal Malaysia’s fund (or its class). As such, you may be charged a Switching Fee equal to the difference (if any) between the Application Fee of the Class and the Application Fee of the other class or Principal Malaysia’s fund (or its class). Switching Fee will not be charged if the Class or Principal Malaysia’s fund (or its class) to be switched into has a lower Application Fee. The Manager may impose RM100 (or equivalent) administrative fee for every switch. You may negotiate to lower the Switching Fee and/or administrative fees. The Manager also have the discretion to waive the Switching Fee and/or administrative fees.
