Principal e-Invoicing Implementation
As part of the Malaysian government’s initiative to enhance tax administration the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (“LHDN”) is implementing e-Invoice - a digital representation of a transaction between a supplier and a buyer. This will eventually, replace paper-based or electronic documents such as invoices, credit notes, and debit notes, while still capturing the same essential information as traditional documents, which record transaction data for business operations. You may visit LHDN’s website on this nationwide initiative for further information.
