We were recently made aware of a social media scam targeting Principal Financial Group in Asia on the WhatsApp platform. We have reported these activities and are taking steps to shut down these fake accounts. Principal Malaysia’s official WhatsApp account for public and customer enquiries is known as Principal Malaysia Customer Service. We do not solicit business/commercial activities via the WhatsApp platform or similar messaging applications. As always, remember to remain vigilant against fraud/scams and in reviewing any requests for personal information.
